Your choice for aluminum castings

Tradition meets Innovation
Complemenatry to the tradional approach of using wood or foam pattern to produce sandmolds the german foundry Giesserei Blöcher uses state of the art technologies for mold preparation. Such as sandmilling and selective laser sintering. Both methods allow mold preparation purely based on CAD data - without any pattern.

The foundry is specialized in single parts and small series. Large molds can be realized using 5-axis high speed mill with maximum dimensions 8000 x 4000 x 2000 mm. Smaller molds or cores upto 700 x 380 x 400 mm per single piece might be prepared with selective laser sintering of sand.
